I was awarded the Galileo Circle Scholarship because my professors nominated me for it...God is so cool! Ironically, I was listening to the Indigo Girls tonight and discovered this song as I don't have it on my iTunes. Enjoy! my friends Lori and Ryan are going vegan these days. I know this is sorta sick-and-twisted, but this made me think of them :)  its the cattle/swine farmer in me

im usually in full support of this motto...but these days, it's getting to the point where life feels like one continuous day broken up by a few hours of sleeping and occasionally some friends, but mostly school. i woke up at 11 this morning, sat around in my pajamas, ate Malt-O-Meal (my fav breakfast), and watched pride and prejudice. A much needed restful time after the crazy week. this photo reminds me of that movie...i love the lighting :) and so does julie...

this is in response to what's currently happening with our state budget and their lack of commitment to Arizona public schools - 49th in the country and so sad if you've spent much time in public schools. Thinking that next year I won't be working in the nice, more wealthy Vail district, but a much poorer district, I am definitely thinking about going. Even my high school is thinking about going to a 4-day school week to save money. WOW!
