this is in response to what's currently happening with our state budget and their lack of commitment to Arizona public schools - 49th in the country and so sad if you've spent much time in public schools. Thinking that next year I won't be working in the nice, more wealthy Vail district, but a much poorer district, I am definitely thinking about going. Even my high school is thinking about going to a 4-day school week to save money. WOW!

I read you blog and thought that cutting school to four days a week seemed a bit drastic so I did some research and number crunching. It's on my blog if you want to take a look.
