i love love love music

I went into The Folk Shop for the first time today.
I've wanted to go for months, maybe even years but never have found time when they were open.  I found a mandolin that i love. :) We'll see...:)  But in the mean time, I'm practicing scales on guitar, learning to play some new songs, and found a better tutorial for my Navajo flute (mine looks exactly like the one above except mine is cedar and doesn't have a feather, but does have the turtle!).  Some comment that it looks like a recorder, but it's so much more!  It makes such a beautiful sound, reminding me of "Legends of the Fall", a very sad movie, or just the rawness of the desert and the West.  I love that about Tucson and living out here, so I'm stoked to learn how to play better.
