It's Derby Day. The official starting day of the Kentucky Derby where apparently woman wear BIG hats, like people do in England. I don't know how we lost that custom out here in the West, but I thought I'd try to bring it back Tucson style...so I wore this hat all day.
no just kidding.
However, my mom has millions of hats and when I went home in October, the time I wasn't in the hospital with my Grandpa I was REALLY bored. I mean staggeringly bored. So I took a bunch of pictures of myself in a bunch of my mom's hats...here's the first. It was my great-grandma's and I think she originally got it in Tucson...come full circle
